Parting all the shadows
So I can see the light
Thoughts that fill this moment
Give me strength tonight

What path to take I wonder
Whose life I want to live
Be truthful to the moment
I know I must forgive

Find a way to get through
The pain that's in this heart
No more will I persuade you
That we will never part

I gave you all I had to
I searched your eyes and saw
That you were not there for me
This reality for sure

I know that I must leave you
My heart will heal I know
From this day forth a new start
The movement may be slow

I have to go on searching
But first I will reflect
Each thought of love a season
I know they will connect.
